Youth Ministry -- the CIA

Huh? The CIA! What’s that About?

St Joseph’s Youth Ministry is called Catholics In Action (CIA). It was created to show Christ’s love to the young people of our Parish. As we minister to those in fourth grade through college, Christ is the center of all that we do.

In this ongoing program the youth of our parish lead younger groups, helping each other forge the tools they need to continue as leaders. Many have come back to lead our high school and college age group.

Vision and Philosophy

The vision of St Joseph’s Youth Ministry is to foster a loving and accepting Christian environment where we can promote positive physical, emotional and spiritual growth that will lead our youth into a close relationship with Christ and empower them as disciples within our Catholic Faith Community.

Who Can Help?

Anyone who has a love of Christ that they want to share. We welcome any parishioners from teens to adults.

How To Get Involved

There are several ways that parishioners can help:

  • through your participation in Youth Ministry activities,
  • through your prayers,
  • through your donations to help fund our trips or events,
  • or perhaps there’s a way you’d like to help that we haven’t thought of yet!

However you can help our ministry, we will welcome your contribution with gratitude.

Sharing Your Time

Our varied youth group activities mandate varying time commitments. Most youth group ministers usually commit around ten to 12 hours a month. We’re an expanding group and will welcome any help in any area!
